Writing Internship

If you’re a college student and people tell you that you’re a  great writer, thryver™ has opportunities to make
you famous. Sure, you have a portfolio and maybe a blog. But how about a place where you can have real data about clicks, comments, users and likes? Not just tens of likes, but thousands and thousands from the
population of 12 million students?

Depending on your time demands, you could become a daily contributor of short pieces, share a column or blog or develop more in-depth content on special projects.

Formats include marketing communications copy, short blog posts, analysis and commentary of daily polls,
discoveries and tips for success on campus and inspiring stories about other students around the world.

There are opportunities for “utility players” who like to write about a variety of subjects as well as for specialists who are passionate about a specific focus.

Ideal candidates are great writers AND willing to conform to specific formats and guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

• Passionate about writing or blogging

• Friendly and conversational

• Must be a good writer and team player

• Willing and able to meet with fellow team members on IM and video conferences

• Possess a good understanding of the social media universe.

• Experience with web analytics applications and WordPress or Webflow is a plus.

• Knowledge of or aggressive willingness to learn internet and social media marketing best practices
